Role Description
The selected editor’s day-to-day responsibilities include:
Editing the assigned copies.
Make sure all copies are free of errors and check for grammar and spelling.
Double check the facts dates and statistics.
Make sure the cover image is perfect for the story.
To make sure all copies are engaging rewrite and edit copies to improve flow and readability.
To write stories as and when required.
What we’re looking for:
Someone with copy editing experience (0.5 – 2 years)
An excellent sense of grammar diction and spelling.
Familiarity with AP style pop culture celebrities and global news.
Where is this role located?
Remote: This role is fully remote allowing you the flexibility to work from the location you feel most productive and comfortable.
This role would require you to work in the afternoon shift (12 pm – 8 pm)six days a week. Shifts might change when editors are on leave.
Please Note: You would be required to work on the weekends. You will have a mid-week off.
