Graphic Designer/Layout Artist

Maths Online (Sydney-based company)

We provide online maths tutoring all around the world helping kids better understand maths and helping teachers become better teachers.

Right now we are redesigning our programs, particularly our video tutorials.

This is a large catalog of maths tutorials (1400+ videos) usually 5 to 10 minutes long.

So what’s involved?

The original layout design was for a PC screen or laptop and these videos have been widely used now for the last 20+ years.

However, we are moving into new markets more reliant on hand-held devices, and as a result, we are resizing all content to increase its usability for a phone or smaller screens.

So the layouts of the videos need to be adjusted and rearranged and some simple transitions and movements need to be included.

We work in Adobe Illustrator and Animate and we need a LAYOUT EXPERT who has a fantastic eye for setting out so it’s clear and aesthetically pleasing.

Most importantly in all of this, we are creating a significant number of new video lessons and are looking to accelerate this process.

YOU WILL need certain skills capabilities and personal attributes…

• have a high level of proficiency and capability in Adobe products particularly Illustrator and Animate
• have a superb eye for detail, especially in relation to layout design
• be very coachable and be very willing to learn
• NOT be addicted to social media – not be distractible checking your phone internet messages, etc
• be able to concentrate FULLY and work INTENSELY for 55 minutes straight then have a 5-minute break then work another 55 minutes straight
• self-reliant creative and accountable with a can-do attitude

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: ₹520000.00 – ₹550000.00 per year

Schedule:

• Flexible shift
• Monday to Friday

Supplemental pay types:

• Yearly bonus

Experience:

• Adobe Animate: 3 years (Required)
• Adobe Illustrator: 3 years (Required)
